Swing for a Great Cause at FCA’s Golf & Tennis Tournament

MINEOLA, NEW YORK, July 31, 2018 –Family & Children’s Association (FCA) will hold its 2018 Golf & Tennis Tournament on September 17, 2018 at the Creek Club in Locust Valley, New York. The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with brunch and registration, and will feature prizes for the day’s top scorers, including a $500 Visa card and luxury accommodations at a CSG Partner Property. Cocktails, dinner and a raffle will follow the tournament, as well as the opportunity to bid on a variety of auction items.
During the evening reception, FCA will honor James W. Cahill, President of the NYS Building & Construction Trades Council. A lifetime New Yorker, Mr. Cahill dedicated nearly 50 years to the United Association and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the labor movement. In 2012, he was appointed President of the NYS Building & Construction Trades Council by its Executive Board, and was soon elected into the position by Council members. Additionally, Mr. Cahill serves as a member of the New York State AFL-CIO Executive Council.
