Supervising Counselor – Walkabout – Freeport

Supervise Direct Care Staff including: ensuring all required trainings are attended, staff record keeping is accurate and all required evaluations are completed in a timely manner.Ensure that the program is meeting the needs of the clients in the most effective manner. Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive treatment plan for clients including the development and supervision of recreational, cultural and educational programs.Supervise and monitor the condition and maintenance of the house and the van.. Monitor and implement the purchasing of program provisions and supplies.Ensure that the daily living and life skills programs of all residents are reviewed and progress and treatment reports are completed and submitted by the required deadline. Assist in the orientation of new residents.Ensure that the program and the house are operating in compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements and that all required paperwork, reports and inspections (including fire drills) are completed and submitted by the required deadline.Collaborate with the Program Coordinator on the status of program effectiveness and maintain regular communication on all relevant issues.
