Chemical Dependency Treatment
Do you or someone you love need help with a drug problem? At Family & Children's, we believe that drug addiction is a disease that can be arrested through a combination of counseling, education treatment and participation in a 12-step program. Our Chemical Dependency Treatment Centers are open five days a week for individual, group and day treatment counseling. Crisis intervention, referrals and support groups are also available.

Hempstead Chemical Dependency & Prevention Center
Our Hempstead Center offers services to individuals and families who are experiencing difficulties caused by chemical dependency. The Center also provides preventive education on substance abuse.
Hicksville Counseling Center
Our Hicksville location provides outpatient substance abuse treatment programs providing individual, group and family treatment for substance abusers and families. The Center also offers anger management, spousal abuse group education and services for veterans.
Long Island Counseling Center (located in West Hempstead)
Outpatient mental health counseling for children, youth and adults including treatment of depression, anxiety, and other psychological problems; treatment of chemical dependency and relapse prevention services.
